Yesterday I downloaded and then purchased this really neat piece of software called EarthDesk.
It puts up a wallpaper on your computer, both Mac and Windows, and displays a real time picture of the Earth as seen from space, with real time daylight and moonlight tracking.

I can recommend this as it is really cool and if your into this kind of thing, you will love having this on your desktop!
You can see where daylight is currently and which parts of the earth are in darkness.
It is customizable and I had fun playing around with it.
